Beha-Amprobe ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector - In Case

The Beha-Amprobe ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector includes the Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Ultrasonic Receiver and an array of accessories including headphones, a power parabola, and a tubular extension. For a complete list of all the items supplied, please see the ‘What’s Included?’ section.

The Beha-Amprobe ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector can be used to detect air and water leaks, vibration, and electrical discharge in pressurised HVAC/R, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. It has a wide frequency range of 20kHz to 90kHz, making it suitable for inspecting the following:

Ultrasonic Leak Detector - Find Ultrasonic Air and Gas Leaks - ULD-400-EUR Series

The Beha-Amprobe ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector’s scope-for-use can be extended further when it is used with a Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-TE Ultrasonic Transmitter (NOT included). When used with this instrument, the Beha-Amprobe ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector can find air and water leaks in unpressurised systems and equipment. Lack of pressure creates a lack of ultrasonic noise; using the Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-TE Ultrasonic Transmitter, the operator can create an ultrasonic signal strong enough for the Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Receiver to detect. Using this method, he/she is able to find air or water leaks in vehicle windshields and windows, as well as the windows, doors and roofs of buildings, and fluid and gas tanks. Ultrasonic Leak Detector - Detecting leaks in non-pressurized locations - ULD-400-EUR Series

The INCLUDED Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Ultrasonic Receiver features an adjustable sensitivity allowing it to pinpoint the sources of equipment failure. The Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Ultrasonic Receiver will convert ultrasonic sound into a visual and audible signal. The strength of the signal is indicated via the bar graph on the Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Ultrasonic Receiver’s 6.35cm LCD display and can be heard using the supplied headphones/ earbuds. Listening to the signal can also aid with identifying the type of equipment failure: a leak issues a hissing noise, while electric discharge creates a ticking sound. Ultrasonic Leak Detector - Using the ULD-400-EUR Series signal strength sensitivity to locate a leak

The Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Ultrasonic Receiver’s adjustable sensitivity allows the user to pinpoint the exact location of faults whilst its filter function ensures that it remains effective in noisy environments. The Beha-Amprobe ULD-400-RE Ultrasonic Receiver is able to filter out up to three main noise frequencies; it is also supplied with a parabola accessory designed to direct ultrasound towards the sensor. In addition to a parabola accessory, the Beha-Amprobe ULD-410 Ultrasonic Leak Detector includes a detachable tubular extension which allows the user to reach hard-to-access areas, again expanding the detector’s scope-for-use.
