About Digital Indicators
Digital indicators are flexible devices used in many fields. They allow the user to view diverse parameters such as temperature, humidity, vibration, normalized signals, etc.
Digital indicators are usually programmed using the keypad, however, some can be set using a PC. The programmed settings are stored, so other digital displays can use the same setup to save time, especially when different digital indicators should do the same work. Additionally, this function protects against misuse.
The number of segments used in a display determines the detail in the presentation and readability. The industry-standard 7-segment display is sufficient for most applications.
The height of the indicated numbers is crucial for the readability of the indicator. The greater the distance from where the figure should be readable, the more essential the corresponding height of the display values.
