The Mitutoyo Series 543 Absolute Digital Indicator (ID-CX) is a reliable and easy-to-use multifunctional indicator. Its ABSOLUTE sensor/ linear encoder means the Mitutoyo Series 543 Absolute Digital Indicator always displays the absolute position of the plunger from the origin each time it is switched on. As a result, the user does not have to reset the origin every time the instrument is powered up, improving the ease and speed of operation. Moreover, the ABSOLUTE linear encoder eliminates over-speed errors thereby increasing reliability.

Measurements are displayed in either mm or inches on the Mitutoyo Series 543 Absolute Digital Indicator’s 330° rotatable display; it has a large digit height of 11mm for good readability. Programmable upper and lower limits enable tolerance-judging measurement (GO/ ±NG); the tolerance result can be enlarged on the display. Via the display, users can also view alarm notifications for low voltage, counting value composition errors, overflow errors, and tolerance limit setting errors.

Furthermore, the Mitutoyo Series 543 Absolute Digital Indicator can determine simple calculations; it also includes the following functions: Preset, Zero-Set, Counting Direction Switching, Data Hold, and Lock, which prevents unauthorised or accidental alteration/ use of the indicator.
