The Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester replaces the Martindale VT3 Non-contact Voltage & Magnetic Indicator.
The Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester can be used to detect AC voltages and magnetic fields. When a magnetic field is detected the clear tip of the Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester will be illuminated by a yellow LED; detection of AC voltage is indicated by a red LED and a buzzer.
The Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester can detect voltages between 200V and 1000V. It can also be used to test relays and solenoid valves without dismantling the equipment; as such, the Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester can be used to troubleshoot and service control equipment in process industries, energy, transportation and pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
Also expanding the Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester’s scope-for-use is its extended probe which facilitates easy access to difficult-to-reach places and its LED torch which enables inspections in areas with low light.
Other practical features present on the Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester are an Auto Power Off function, recessed ‘On’ button and a low battery indicator. All these features are designed to prolong the Martindale NC3 Non-contact Voltage and Magnetic Field Tester’s battery life thereby preserving its longevity.
