The Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester can be used to detect the presence of voltages between 200V and 1000V.
This tool is suitable for tracing live circuits in cable containments and for detecting voltages in sockets and junction boxes. This is because the Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester can indicate the presence of a voltage at approximately 4mm from a conductor at 240V.
When the Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester detects a voltage, it will issue a buzzer alert and its clear tip will be illuminated by a red LED.
The Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester is optimised for detecting voltages in 230V and three-phase supplies. It can also be used to differentiate between Live and Neutral wires and can detect blown fuses.
This tool has been ergonomically designed and to this end features an extended probe construction which facilitates easy access. It also includes an LED torch for conducting inspections in low light. Furthermore, the Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester features a low battery indicator and a power-on LED pulse.
Further to this, the pen-shaped Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester with clip can be easily carried in a pocket or tool belt.
