The Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NOx Sensor is optimised for servicing commercial boilers. To this end, it includes a NO sensor with a range of 0 to 3000ppm, as well as a H₂-compensated CO sensor with automatic dilution to 30, 000ppm. In addition to this, the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NOx Sensor features an O₂ sensor capable of measuring oxygen levels between 0 and 21 vol.%; this analyser is also capable of measuring the following parameters:
- Draught: -9.99 mbar to +40 mbar
- Pressure: -100 mbar to +200 mbar
- Temperature: -40°C to 1200°C
The inclusion of a NO (nitric oxide) sensor and an adjustable NO₂ (nitrogen dioxide) pre-set value enables this Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s ability to determine the total NOx (nitrogen oxide) measurement; this reading can be converted into an mg/kWh value for direct comparison with the emission levels specified in the ErP directive.
In September 2018, a new phase in the ErP directive specified the maximum permissible NOx emission levels for all 400kW-rated, domestic and commercial heating and hot water units. It specifies the following levels:
- 56 mg/kWh for gas- and LPG-fired boilers
- 120 mg/kWh for oil-fired boilers
The Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NOx Sensor, which has been designed and tested in accordance with EN 50379 Parts 1-3, provides a solution to maintaining compliance with the above requirements.
Via the addition of various optional probes and accessories, the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NOx Sensor can be used to measure differential temperature, gas flow pressure and ambient CO. It can also be used to perform gas pipe tests and may be used to check flue gas pipes with larger diameters via the addition of an OPTIONAL longer probe shaft, and can test units in difficult-to-access places using an OPTIONAL flexible probe. The Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s multi-functional handle allows the user to attach a variety of quick-change probe shafts (sold separately) in order to tailor the analyser to the application.
Moreover, the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NO sensor features extra-strong magnets allowing the engineer to attach the unit to a magnetic surface to be held in place throughout the testing procedure, thereby freeing his/her hands. This improves the ease and efficiency of conducting the necessary tests.
Measurements and parameters can be viewed via the 5-inch HD display. It is easy to access the necessary settings, parameters, records and readings using the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s smart-touch display and clearly structured menus. This analyser has the same response time as a smartphone or tablet; for further information regarding the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s smart-touch display; please see the following video.
The Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s screen is replaceable, recessed and scratch-proof; it is covered by a replaceable, protective film. This instrument is housed in a protective, robust, rubber casing making it suitable for use in rugged environments and improving the unit’s longevity.
Also working to extend this unit’s longevity, as well as decrease the instrument’s downtime and maintenance costs, is its automatic sensor protection. This feature ensures that Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s sensors will not need replacing for at least five years*, this reduces the long-term costs of the unit both with regards to part replacement and lost earnings caused by necessary downtime.
Downtime in between applications is also reduced when the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser is placed in Standby mode as the user does not need to wait for the completion of the zeroing phase before he/she can re-commence testing. Moreover, its integrated rechargeable battery is able to supply up to ten hours of power, reducing the frequency with which it needs to be recharged and thereby also decreasing downtime.
Additionally, as this Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NO Sensor features the functionality of a smartphone or tablet, it can be used to create reports onsite which can be emailed to clients via a WLAN interface. Alternatively, as this instrument includes a signature function the engineer and client are able to sign the custom report onsite, thereby increasing efficiency and convenience as well as reducing paperwork.
Reports, readings and client information can be saved to the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s extensive 32GB memory; it is able to accommodate up to 5000 readings and multitudinous customer details such as contact information, boiler type, site records and retest dates. The Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s sophisticated user-interface will alert the engineer when a customer’s asset is due for re-inspection.
Information saved to the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NO Sensor can be transferred to the user’s PC and organised using the supplied Testo EasyHeat PC Analysis Software; this software can also be used to configure the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NO Sensor.
It is also possible to transfer readings, reports and data to an industry- or customer-specific software program. ** Alternatively, the engineer may print readings onsite using the supplied Testo Infrared/ Bluetooth Printer and the Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser’s Bluetooth® interface.
The Testo 300LL Smart Long-life Flue Gas Analyser with NO Sensor is a comprehensive, cost-effective and convenient instrument optimised for servicing commercial boilers and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
