Kane 258 Combustion Flue Gas Analyser

The Kane 258 Combustion Flue Gas Analyser is a simple-to-use, entry-level FGA with direct CO measurement, and O₂ and CO sensor protection. It is also hydrogen ready (H₂), up to 20% blend, and compatible with the following fuel types: natural gas, butane, LPG, light oil, wood pellets and propane.

Applications

The Kane 258 Combustion is optimised for domestic gas applications and can be used for the following:

• Install and service domestic oil and gas appliances
• Check combustion performance
• Check combustion efficiency

The Kane Flue Gas Analyser can measure carbon monoxide (CO) between 0 and 2000ppm, oxygen (O₂) between 0 and 21%, and differential temperature. This FGA is also capable of calculating carbon dioxide (CO₂) between 0 and 20%, CO:CO₂ ratio, excess air, and combustion efficiency. It can be used to produce temperature and combustion test reports.

Data is visible on the six-line display and can be frozen on the screen using the Data Hold function. It also includes options for logging and printing (Kane printer required) measurements. The simple-to-use rotary dial makes accessing the required measurement or function easy and quick.

The analyser is supplied with a USB charger and ten-year ‘no quibble’ warranty from Kane (recertification by Kane required). It is also equipped with a detachable flue probe and purge pump protection to prevent accidental damage to the carbon monoxide (CO) sensor.

Kane Live App

A wireless module is available. This OPTIONAL module allows the Kane 258 Combustion Flue Gas Analyser to communicate with the Kane Live Software and Gas Checker App. This must be added to your order and cannot be bought seperately.

KANE LIVE allows you to add company and user profiles, and send test results in CSV format for easy integration with spreadsheets. You can even GPS tag your location for accurate record keeping.

In addition, KANE LIVE lets you control the analyser pump, torch and fresh air purge, and provides in-app guides and access to the KANE Knowledge Centre for extra help.
