Fast, One-Touch Testing

The Fluke 6200-2 PAT tester is designed to make performing PAT tests as simple as possible.

All you need to do is connect your appliance to the 6200-2 by the built-in 3-pin mains socket or IEC port, then press a dedicated button to activate each test. This one-touch testing ability makes it significantly easier to actually perform tests, and helps you to get more done without complicated setup.

The 6200-2 performs all required tests as defined in the IET Code of Practice, including:

• Earth Bond - with both high and low current settings. Low current setting of 200mA allows the 6200-2 to safely perform the earth bond test on sensitive IT equipment such as computers and laptops
• Insulation - with selectable test voltages of 250V and 500V
• Leakage Tests - includes protective earth conductor current, touch current and substitute leakage current

You can use the 6200-2 to test class I and class II appliances, IEC leads, extension leads, IT equipment and - via the use of optional 110V and 415V adapters - use the tester to perform electrical safety checks on 110V equipment found on construction sites etc or 415V 3-phase industrial equipment.

The Fluke 6200-2 is designed with portability and ease of use in mind, with a strong, lightweight enclosure to ensure you can easily port it from test to test and easily set it up with different appliances.

This PAT tester has a number of benefits, including:

• Dedicated Mains Plug and IEC Ports - there's no need to use IEC adapters with the 6200-2, both standard 3 pin plugs and IEC leads etc will plug directly into the 6200-2 with no optional accessories required
• Integrated Carrying Handle and Supplied with Hard Carrying Case - need to move from appliance to appliance? No problem - just pick up and go with the carrying handle, or place the tester inside the included hard carrying case if you're travelling
• Pluggable Test Leads - detachable, easy-to-replace test leads ensure you can replace them with new test leads should they be damaged or worn due to extensive use
• Large-Size Display - easily view all of your testing results with the built-in static display with integrated backlight
• Pre-Set PASS/FAIL Limits - the Fluke 6200-2 knows as standard when an appliance should pass or fail a test, with no complicated setup required by the user

Limited Memory Storage

The Fluke 6200-2 is classed as a 'manual' PAT tester - although this unit does have built-in memory storage, stored results can only be viewed on the tester itself and cannot be downloaded to PC. If you require downloadable memory storage, consider upgrading to the Fluke 6500-2 PAT tester.
