The FLIR Elara FB 6xx ID-Series Thermal Imaging Security Cameras are high-performing infrared imagers optimised for security applications such as perimeter intrusion detection. These infrared imaging security cameras include onboard analytics for classifying humans and vehicles and are particularly well suited to monitoring commercial and industrial perimeters.

Each of the FLIR Elara FB 6xx ID-Series Thermal Imaging Security Cameras features FLIR’s industry-leading thermal technology (the most deployed for perimeter protection). They are able to capture high-contrast thermal images in bad weather and complete darkness. These IR cameras are also equipped with custom AGCs and Digital Detail Enhancement (DDE) to improve image contrast throughout all scenes, ensuring thermal images are optimised for use with onboard analytics. The Thermal Imaging Security Cameras’ onboard analytics (with a low false alarm rate) means they are able to classify humans and vehicles and are capable of target hand-off to autonomous PTZ tracking cameras.
‘Plug and Play’ compatibility ensures the cameras can be integrated into video management systems of various ages and sizes. To this end, they also include IP and analogue outputs for use with current or legacy video management systems. These infrared imaging security cameras are suitable for use with FLIR and third-party video management systems: they are fully integrated and certified by third-party video management systems. When used with FLIR’s United VMS, the FLIR Elara FB 6xx ID-Series Thermal Imaging Security Cameras are capable of thermal and video analytic configuration and alarm management.
