PEL51 Measurement Capabilities

In addition to true-RMS voltage and current measurement, the Power & Energy Logger can ascertain the following power values:

• Active P (W)
• Fundamental Active Pf (W)
• Fundamental Reactive Qf (var)
• Non-active N (var)
• Distortion D (var)
• Apparent S (VA)

It will also determine all the relevant energy measurements.

Mini94 Current Clamp (Optional)

When used with an optional Mini94 Current Clamp, it can measure AC currents between 50mA and 200 A. It delivers excellent accuracy and allows installations to be measured without interfering with the running of the circuit.

Data Recording

The Chauvin Arnoux PEL51-1 can be programmed to record data to an SD or SDHC at intervals from one minute to one hour. Saved measurements can be easily read on a PC.

PEL Transfer Software

Using Chauvin Arnoux’s PEL program you can download recorded data to your PC where it can be analysed, annotated, saved, or exported.

Web Server Interface

When you know the IP address of the meter, you can control your instrument from any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Windows, Android, iOS, etc.). On the instrument's touch-sensitive screen, you can click on the required icon to access the various measurements and menus.

PEL Transfer Software

The PEL Transfer® software offers a practical tool for configuring and downloading the data recorded on the measuring instrument onto your computer. Using clear dialogue boxes which are easy to use with tabs, the curves can be displayed, saved, and/or exported by the user.

Wi-Fi Interface

A VNC mode enables the Chauvin Arnoux Power & Energy Logger to be controlled via a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Windows, Android, iOS, etc.). It also supports connection via an IRD server.
