Use this handheld, portable and accurate meter to measure the insulation resistance of transformers, motors, cables, switches, electrical appliances and a wide variety of other types of electrical equipment.
The UT505A comes with several different selectable voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V. This gives it the ability to measure insulation resistance levels from as low as 0.01MΩ up to a high threshold of 20.0GΩ and a special low resistance mode can also be used to measure to 20.0kΩ. Both AC/DC voltage can also be measured up to 600V.
A number of additional functions such as DAR (dielectric absorption ratio), polarisation index and a comparison function for easy determination of difference between tests are also included.
