Built for use on high voltage systems, the UNI-T UT255B is capable of measuring leakage current across two ranges of 0.01mA to 100A and 100A to 6000A.
Supplied as standard with a receiver, the UT255B can be used to wirelessly transmit measurement data to the receiver at a distance of up to 30m away from where the clamp is attached to a conductor. This makes sure that testing can be performed safely on potentially dangerous HV applications. It is also possible to use the tester by itself to view testing results (they are shown on a built-in LCD screen with backlight for use in darkened conditions).
The jaws of the UT255B are 33mm in size, meaning it is best suited for attachment to smaller or medium-sized conductors. This clamp testing device has a number of additional features including autoranging, data recall, 99 record memory, peak value calculation, a data hold function, auto power off when left idle and a low battery indicator.
This product is CAT III 600V safety rated and is compliant with IEC 1010-1, IEC 1010-2-032 and IEC 61326.
