UNI-T UT253A Large Jaw Leakage Current Clamp Meter

This clamp meter is best suited for applications where measurements of large-sized conductors are required.

With uniquely designed, square-shaped jaws with extremely large clamping size of 80 x 80mm, the UT253A can be easily navigated around a large conductor or even several conductors in order to evaluate leakage current levels.

This clamp meter features leakage current measurements across two ranges: 0.00mA-300A and 300A to 12000A with resolution of 0.01mA and high basic accuracy. This tester can also be used to evaluate AC voltage levels between a range of 0 to 600V with resolution of 0.01V and frequency of 50/60Hz.

The UNI-T UT253A also includes built-in memory, allowing up to 2000 records to be stored on the instrument. These can then be downloaded to PC via an RS-232 port that is built into the system.

Additional functions of this leakage clamp include autoranging, a backlit LCD screen, data hold function, overrange display, low battery indication and an auto-shut down facility which activates to conserve battery life when the tester is left idle.
