The TPI SP620 Smart Probe Differential Pressure Meter has a measurement range of -150 mbar and +150 mbar/ -60 inH2O and +60 inH2O and an accuracy of ±0.05 mbar (0 to 1 mbar) / ±0.02 in H2O (0 to 1 inH2O). When used with TPI’s SmarProbe App the user is able to measure and view readings for differential pressure. This instrument has a methane sensitivity of 40 ppm. When the TPI 725L detects gas levels above 40ppm it will tick and flash its green LED more frequently.
The TPI 725L Combustible Gas Leak Detector is simple to operate
1.) Power the detector on using the ON/OFF key. The TPI 725L’s LEDs will commence flashing, indicating that it is switched on, whilst the instrument auto zeros
2.) Once the TPI 725L Combustible Gas Leak Detector has initialised and auto-zeroed it will commence ticking and the green LED above the ON/OFF key will flas
3.) Begin tracing the equipment, system or installation that is under investigation
4.) As gas levels of above 40ppm are detected the TPI 725L Combustible Gas Leak Detector will tick and flash more frequently
5.) Each time the ticking and flashing increases press the ON/OFF key to nullify the detector and continue to walk in the direction of the leak in order to pinpoint its location. If the detected gas is measured at 1000ppm or above the High LED will illuminate. Alternatively, if the ticking or flashing decreases this indicates that the gas level has decreased and the user should commence walking in the opposite direction to pinpoint the leak
6.) To turn the unit off, press and hold the ON/OFF key.
