TPI SP341LK Smart Legionnaires Temperature Kit

The TPI SP341LK Smart Legionnaires Temperature Kit contains a selection of test instruments designed to aid the user with identifying temperature conditions in which Legionella bacteria may grow.

Legionella bacteria cause Legionnaires disease, a serious strain of pneumonia. A person may contract Legionnaires disease if he/she inhales infected water. It is rare to catch this disease in a domestic setting but it can be caught in public environments such as hotels, hospitals or offices. As such this kit includes equipment optimised for testing air conditioning systems, spa pools, hot tubs, showers, taps and toilets, the most common environments for Legionella bacteria growth.

TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter Description

The TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter can be used with TPI type-K temperature probes with a sub-mini connector, such as those included in this kit, to measure temperatures between -50° and 1350°C / -58°F and 2462°F.

This instrument can be used to measure temperatures in either °C or °F and to a resolution of 0.1°C / 0.1°F.

Measurements may be viewed remotely via the user’s smartphone and the TPI SmartProbe App (NOT included). A connection to the user’s smartphone, and by extension the TPI SmartProbe App, is facilitated by the TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter’s Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.

When connected to the aforementioned app the user is able to conduct differential temperature tests. Results may be saved to a CSV file and can be organised into reports to be sent to clients via email.

Finally, the TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter includes a red LED light for indicating when battery power levels are low. This instrument is powered using three AAA batteries.

TPI CK15M Type-K Heavy Duty Surface Probe Description

The TPI CK15M Type-K Heavy Duty Surface Probe can be used with the above TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter to measure temperatures between -40 and 510°C / -40 and 950°F.

It has been optimised for conducting contact temperature measurements on flat and uneven hot surfaces.

The TPI CK15M Type-K Heavy Duty Surface Probe is a simple-to-use, effective accessory to the TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter.

The TPI FK13M Type-K Penetration Probe is designed for penetrating liquids and semi-solids in order to perform general purpose temperature measurements.

It has a temperature range of -40 to 850°C / -40 to 1562°F and can be used with the above TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter to perform measurements.

The TPI FK13M Type-K Penetration Probe extends the scope-for-use of the TPI SP341 Smart Single Temperature Meter.
