An easy-to-use, economical vibration monitoring and analysis tool, the TPI 9085 Smart Vibration Analyser can be used to determine, record, and analyse vibration and bearing wear and temperature. It automatically performs vibration analysis functions based on the machine’s running speed to diagnose faults such as unbalance, misalignment, and looseness, as well as to determine the degree of bearing wear.
The TPI 9085 Smart Vibration Analyser gathers vibration and temperature data from pumps, motors, fans, bearings, and other assets. Data is displayed on the TPI 9085 Smart Vibration Analyser in frequency plots. Using the supplied C-Trend II Software, you can monitor, analyse, and trend vibration severity and bearing condition. An 800-line spectrum with zoom and a cursor makes it easier to identify complex issues, whereas colour-coded ISO alarms displayed alongside vibration values and Bearing Damage Units (BDU) provide a simple way of assessing the overall machine and bearing conditions.
The TPI 9085 Smart Vibration Analyser is a powerful, cost-effective tool that enables you to find faults before they become failings that stop your machine, thereby decreasing maintenance costs while increasing productivity. Furthermore, temperature measurement helps with determining if a bearing requires lubrication and whether a high BDU reading is being caused by a worn bearing or whether it is a result of pump cavitation or a nearby noisy bearing. Temperature measurement can also help with diagnosing tight/loose housing or shaft fit on a bearing, as well as electrical issues such as winding insulation deterioration, single phasing, and broken rotor bars.
