About Circuit Breaker Lockouts
Need an effective way of locking out access to a circuit breaker during routine maintenance or as part of your Lockout Tagout programme? Our range of circuit breaker lockouts cater to all types of breakers ranging from MCBs to large sizes, are easy to install, and completely prevent access when installed.
But why should you lock out a breaker? Simple - it can save lives and prevent accidents. If breakers that are part of important systems are left powered on, or accidentally switched on when workers are completing a job on machinery, there is a serious risk of injury - and in the worst-case scenario - death.
Locking out prevents this from happening. By installing our lockouts, workers are protected at all times from harm, as the breaker's switch remains fixed in place and is impossible to activate until an authorised person removes the installation.
