Extech TM500 12 Channel Datalogging Thermometer

The one tool you need for detailed, accurate measurements of temperature, the Extech TM500 allows measurement and logging of temperature readings from 12 different measurement points simultaneously.

Compatible with six different thermocouple types (J, K, E, T, R and S), the TM500 is suitable for use in a wide variety of different temperature measurement applications including heat distribution within thermal chambers, quality control temperature monitoring, HVAC and refrigeration, cooling systems, core temperature in ovens, automotive design and is more than flexible enough to be adapted to any temperature measurement.

To aid with getting the measurements you want, the Extech TM500 is fully programmable to the user's needs. It's possible to set your own sampling rate from anywhere to 1 to 3600 seconds, view readings from eight channels at the same time (with easy switching between CH1 to CH8 and CH9 to CH12 and all readings are automatically logged to the instrument's internal memory (up to 99 records) or can be stored on the included SD card (20M records) with date and time stamping for ease of use. An RS232 port is built into the instrument to allow data streaming to PC.

Additional functions of this temperature datalogger include offset adjustment used for zero function or making relative measurements, MIN/MAX calculations, a data hold function and an auto power off function (which can be disabled for lengthy logging procedures).

This meter is powered by batteries, but can also be powered by a 9V mains cable (sold separately). It's also compatible with SD cards of other sizes (supplied as standard with a 2GB card).
