Made for calibrating and simulating voltage and current loops, the Time 7005 includes the ability to source and measure voltage and current and is a portable unit designed for use both in the lab and out in the field.
The 7005 has three operating modes: a loop current/voltage source for simulating a transmitter and loop supply, a sink of loop current for simulating a transmitter and a measurement mode which calculates loop current/voltage for simulating loop indicators.
This calibration device also includes both manual and autostepping calibration output points, with 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% of span available on the automatic mode. In addition this calibrator can also perform continuous up and down ramping with user programmable ramp and dwell time (top and bottom).
The Time 7005 calibrator runs on rechargeable batteries and will last on average for around 9 hours on a single charge.
