Time Electronics Temperature And Process Calibrator

This high specification process calibrator is lightweight, portable, battery or mains powered calibration unit and can be used to source and measure thermocouples, PT100s, μV, mV and mA.

When used with thermocouples, the 1090 can be used to measure/simulate temperature (in both Celsius and Fahrenheit) plus mV characteristics of type J, K, T, R, S, B, N and E type thermocoples. It also includes the ability to carry out PT100 measurement and simulations (based on 0.3850 alpha probe standard) between a range of -200 to 700°C.

The final measurement/simulation mode on this device enables it to measure 0 to ±30mV and 0 to ±60mA and source from 0 to ±80mV and 0 to ±80mA.

This calibration device also comes with cold junction compensation, meaning it can be operated with ot without internal cold junction compensation. Other additional features include a 24V process loop drive mode, inching (incrementing/decrementing) and built-in memory.

Further Features and Functions
Inching Three levels of increment, 0.1, 1 or 10 for °C/°F, and 1, 10, or 100 μV/ μA for voltage/current. The lowest of these represents the highest setting resolution and provides the most precise control of the output.

24V Process Loop Drive

A process loop can be driven at 24V and up to 60mA by selecting the ‘Milliamp Source’ mode and setting it at 60mA
(or a lower level if required). Max Load Specifications: 300Ω/80mA, 480Ω/50mA, 1.2kΩ/20mA

Memory recall & step

10 memory locations for non-volatile storage of values. Manual & AutoStep, rate adjustable from 1 to 10 sec/step
