The Time 7000 is a portable RTD temperature calibration device that includes both a precision digital thermometer and an RTD/ohms calibrator. It is suitable for use absolutely everywhere due to its ability to be powered by the mains or by rechargeable batteries, making the 7000 an ideal product for laboratory, workshop or field usage.
This calibration unit can be used to check a total of 7 different RTD types, including PT100. It utilises two modes - monitoring and simulation - to provide several different values. The monitor mode on the 7000 includes the ability to check RTD probes by measuring resistance at known temperatures, measures resistance values, indicates temperature when connected to an RTD probe and can be pre-programmed with RTD characteristics for high accuracy.
The simulation mode of the Time 7000 calibrator allows output of resistance at a precise known value, simulation of an RTD value from an RTD table chart, simulation of an RTD value using the internal table and also includes specific RTD programming as well.
Additional functions of this calibrator includes 2, 3 and 4 wire connections, Celsius, Kelvin, Fahrenheit and Ohm measurements, ramp and step functions and 24 hour battery life.
