Designed for use with high current ductor testers and microhm meters, Time's 5070 is used to accurately calibrate these testers and ensures correct operation.
Five resistors that are integrated into this device ensures that calibration procedures are as precise as is possible. Since ductor testers and microhm meters often uses 4 wire testing the 5070 includes 4 terminals for correctly securing a meter to the calibrator. The terminals are gold plated in order to reduce the overall contact resistance and thermal emfs that can affect the results generated.
This calibrator uses the following measurement ranges to correctly calibrate instruments:
