Optimised for plumbers inspecting sewers, underground pipes and air ducts, the TestSafe Video Drain Pipe Inspection Camera includes a Ø23mm Sony CCD camera head with a 40m fibreglass cable, 7” LCD monitor and laptop-style keypad. It features a digital video recording function and is ideal for inspecting pipes with diameters ranging from 40mm to 150mm.

The TestSafe Video Drain Pipe Inspection Camera’s display and keypad are contained within a removable box, the cable reel is outside; this innovative, easy-to-carry design ensures that the external cable reel is easy to clean and will not transfer dirt onto the display and keypad. When the case is closed the entire system is waterproof.

Furthermore, as the rotatable cable reel is mounted to the case it can be extended and retracted easily and conveniently; it is also suitable for navigating 90° bends in pipes with diameters of 45mm. In addition to this, the TestSafe Video Drain Pipe Inspection Camera with 40m Fibreglass Cable features an intelligent braking system allowing the user to fix the cable and camera in place during inspection applications.

This pipe inspection imager’s Ø23mm Sony CCD camera has a 120° field-of-view. Its camera head is constructed from stainless steel and is framed by two plastic guides (Ø46mm & 80mm). The camera head is certified to IP68 ensuring that it is waterproof and dust-tight. Moreover, the TestSafe Video Drain Pipe Inspection Camera with 40m Fibreglass Cable features a sapphire glass lens cover and 12 white LED lights which are designed to enable inspections in dark or dim areas. The user can adjust the brightness of the LEDs via the display and control panel.

Footage is viewable via the 7” LCD colour monitor; the user is able to rotate the image using the dedicated function button. Additionally, via the display, the user can view the date, time and distance counter (OPTIONAL).
