Testo 883-2 & 42° Lens (0560 8836)
Designed for building energy consultants: The thermal imager testo 883-2 is a reliable partner when carrying out the search for thermal anomalies.
Also available as a kit with 2 lenses - 12° & 42° + Battery
Advanced Thermal Imager Features
The Testo 883 is equipped with an array of useful features including SuperResolution which increases the IR resolution to 640 x 480px by capturing multiple images and combining them using an advanced algorithm. In addition to this, the Thermal Imaging Cameras include:
- SiteRecognition technology: automatically recognises the measuring location and assigns corresponding images to the asset; this saves time and confusion by eliminating manual image management.
- ScaleAssist: automatically sets the optimal thermal scale to increase contrast and prevent interpretation errors; ensures that images taken in different ambient conditions can be reliably compared.
- Moisture distribution: users can view the distribution and severity of moisture to identify areas prone to mould; green areas have a low risk, yellow a moderate risk, and red a high risk.
The testo thermal cameras support wireless communication with compatible Testo clamp meters and humidity probes, allowing users to embed readings into thermal images. Furthermore, support for Wi-Fi means thermographers can use their smartphone or tablet as a second display or remote control. Additionally, Testo’s app (available for free on Android and iOS) can be used to create and send reports on-site via a smartphone or tablet. Alternatively, it is supplied with Testo’s IRSoft Software which can be used to analyse thermal images as well as create professional reports on a PC.
The Testo 883 Thermal Imaging Camera is a highly sensitive, adaptable, and convenient infrared imager optimised for improving job efficiency and ease, the intuitive interface and touch-screen make navigating and using the camera easy and trouble-free.
