The Testo 868s Thermal Imaging Camera is a revised version of the previous Testo 868 model. Updated features include: 

• An improved thermal sensitivity: 80mK
• A better visual camera resolution: 5MP
• A new user interface with simplified 'tile' operation of menus using a joystick button

Like its predecessor, the Testo 868s can be used to capture thermal images and measure temperature. It is ideal for the following applications:  

• Testing heating systems
• Preventative industrial maintenance
• Detect leak
• Identify overheated connections
• Pinpoint thermal bridges or detect structural defects
• and much more

Its many capabilities and features ensure you can capture clear images and gather measurements accurately. The Testo 868s has a FOV of 31° x 23° and an infrared resolution of 160 x 120 pixels with a total of 19200 temperature measuring points; when the integrated Testo SuperResolution technology is activated, the resolution increases to 320 x 240 pixels.

Offering temperature ranges of -30°C to +100°C and 0°C to +650°C, the camera can indicate temperature differences as small as 0.10°C. It will automatically recognise hot and cold spots and display critical temperature conditions. Further to this, the Testo ɛ-Assist function will automatically ensure that the camera’s emissivity and reflected temperature are correctly set, improving accuracy and usability. 

The camera's IFOV warner also works to improve accuracy and reliability as it allows you to view the measurement spot. You can see exactly what the camera is measuring thereby minimising mistakes.

Another feature present on the Testo 868s is the Testo ScaleAssist function; this allows the user to determine the scale of the thermal image, again, working to ensure accuracy, as well as the comparability of captured thermal images. The integrated 5MP digital camera can also be used to verify the thermal image as it captures 'digital' photos in parallel with thermal ones.

Digital and thermal images captured may be saved as JPEGs to be downloaded to a PC for analysis using the Testo Pro Software.

Alternatively, you may wirelessly connect the Testo 868s to your mobile via the WLAN radio module. Using a smartphone with the free Testo Thermography App, you can write, send, and save reports online. Furthermore, via this app, you are able to operate the thermal camera remotely, allowing you to use your smart device as a second display.
