Testo 831 Infrared Thermometer

Ideally suited for use in quickly checking food temperature, the Testo 831 is a pistol-shaped, easy-to-use non-contact infrared (IR) thermometer.

Designed to take measurements from further away, the 831 has 30:1 optics (stand up to a distance of 30 inches away for a 1 inch measurement spot) and a built-in dual laser pointer for calculating a precise measurement area.

This IR thermometer is capable of measuring temperature across a range of -30 to +210°C with an extremely high degree of accuracy. The emissivity of the meter can be adjusted as needed to cater for different surface types between 0.1 and 1.0.

The Testo 831 includes integrated alarm functionality, allowing the user to set two alarm limits which will sound if a temperature is exceeded. It also comes with a data hold function which will temporarily store a value on the screen plus the ability to display MIN/MAX values taken over a period of time.
