The best overall model in Testo 830 series, the T4 improves on the functionality of all the other models in this range to make measuring quicker, easier and safer for the user. The main difference between this model and other is in the series is 30:1 laser optics; this function allows the user to stand up to 30" away from the target measurement point and gain surface temperature measurements over a 1" area.

Another unique function exclusive to this instrument is the inclusion of external probe connections, allowing the capabilities of the tester to be expanded further. External probes are sold separately and can be used to measure air, surface and even interior temperature measurements (please see attached datasheet for more information on compatible probe types).
