The Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is a multifunctional environmental tester that can be combined with a range of Testo probes to detect mould and measure various air quality parameters:

It is possible to connect up to three probes (one Bluetooth probe, one wired probe and one type-K temperature probe) to the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester simultaneously. Probes are automatically recognised by the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester, removing the need to adjust parameters with the addition of each new probe.
In addition to this, the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester features a differential pressure sensor enabling pilot tube and K-factor measurements (pilot tube sold separately). The Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can also determine volume flow via differential pressure and K-factor, as well as perform funnel measurements. Inclusion of a differential pressure sensor makes the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester suitable for monitoring fans and filters, in addition to testing ducts, air/ceiling outlets, fume cupboards, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
The Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester features an intuitive interface with clearly structured measurement menus designed to guide the user through performing measurements, mould detection and long-term monitoring of CO and CO₂ levels. The Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can be left to monitor CO and/or CO₂ unsupervised; the user needs only enter the measurement period and intervals. Similarly, entering the geometry and dimensions of the duct’s cross-section enables the automatic calculation of volume flow.
Furthermore, the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s magnets mean it can be attached to metal surfaces allowing the user to leave it in place for monitoring applications and/ or conducting measurements remotely using Testo’s Bluetooth Smart Probes/ Data Loggers. Using Testo Bluetooth Smart Probe Data Loggers eliminates cable clutter and allows the user to commence and stop tests by pressing the button on the probe’s handle. These probes are able to transfer readings over a distance of up to 20m allowing the operator to conduct measurements remotely.
Results are indicated on the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s large, graphic display; the user is able to view up to three parameters in parallel. He/she can save results to the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s internal memory. This tester has the capacity to store up to 7500 measurement protocols.
It is possible to send measurements to print in the field using a Testo Bluetooth/IRDA Printer. Alternatively, using a USB connection, data can be transferred to a PC for processing in a CSV file.
Finally, the Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester provides maximum uptime as only the probes need to be sent for calibration, meaning the tester can remain in continuous use. The Testo 440dP Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is an adaptable, affordable and accurate multifunctional tester.
