Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is a versatile and adaptable tester designed for use with Testo's probes including Testo Bluetooth Smart Probes/ Data Loggers. When used with these probes, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is able to measure and monitor a range of air quality parameters including:

  • Humidity

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can also detect mould. Via various combinations of probes, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can be used to measure ducts, air/ ceiling outlets, fume cupboards, air conditioning and ventilation systems. Up to three probes, a Bluetooth probe, wired probe and type-K temperature probe, can be connected to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester simultaneously. Each probe is automatically recognised by the Test 440, removing the need to adjust parameters each time one is connected. Furthermore, when using Testo Bluetooth Smart Probes, the user can commence and halt measurements by pressing the button on the handle, allowing him/her to conduct tests at a distance from the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester. It is possible to attach the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to a metal surface using its magnets, thereby enabling this remote method of measuring.

This instrument also includes an intuitive interface with clearly structured measurement menus designed to guide the user through each test, as well as long-term measurements such as CO and CO monitoring. The user needs only enter the measurement period and intervals when programming the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to conduct unsupervised long-term monitoring. Additionally, the volume flow of a duct is automatically calculated once the dimensions and cross-section of the duct have been entered.

This multifunctional air quality tester is ideal for monitoring air quality and performing comfort level measurements. Its ability to accommodate wireless Bluetooth® probes allows the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to carry out measurements without excessive cable clutter. Furthermore, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s downtime is reduced as only the measurement probes need to be sent for calibration, allowing the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to remain in continuous use.

Results are indicated on the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s large graphic display. Just as the user is able to attach three probes to the Testo 440, he/she is able to view three measurements in parallel via the display.

Up to 7500 measurement protocols can be saved to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s internal memory; these can be exported to a PC via a USB connection for analysis in a CSV file. Alternatively, data can be sent to print via a Testo Bluetooth/ IRDA printer, allowing the user to produce reports on site.
