PLEASE NOTE that the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s measurement capabilities are dependent on the attached probes. Please see the following video for a brief introduction to the probes that are compatible with the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester.
Up to three probes can be connected simultaneously to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester: one Bluetooth probe, one wired probe and one type-K temperature probe. Each probe is automatically recognised by the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester, removing the need to adjust parameters each time a probe is attached.
As a result, the user is able to view up to three parameters via the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s large, graphic display. Data can be saved to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s internal memory. It has the capacity to store up to 7500 measurement protocols. Records can be sent to print on-site using a Testo Bluetooth/ IRDA Printer (NOT included) or can be exported to a PC via a USB connection for processing in a CSV file.
The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s capacity to store up to 7500 measurement protocols makes it suitable for long-term applications such as the unsupervised monitoring of CO and CO₂ levels (probe dependent): the user needs only enter the measurement period and intervals. The operator can program the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester for long-term monitoring via its intuitive interface and clearly structured measurement menus which are designed to guide the user through each process. Moreover, using these measurement menus the operator can set the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to calculate volume flow automatically; he/she need only input the dimensions and geometry of the duct cross-section.
The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is held in place throughout long-term monitoring processes by its integrated magnets. These magnets also allow the user to perform remote and wireless measurements using Testo Bluetooth Smart Probes/ Data Loggers, such as the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe/ Data Logger with Temperature Sensor included in this kit (see below for further details).
Only the probes used with the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester need to be sent for calibration allowing the Testo 440 to remain in continuous use thereby maximising its uptime.
The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is an adaptable, affordable and accurate air quality tester.
The Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe/ Data Logger with Temperature Sensor is specifically designed for conducting volume flow measurements at air/ ceiling outlets. It can be used with an extendable telescope with a 90° angle (NOT included) to access air/ ceiling outlets without the use of a ladder. Please see the following video for further information regarding the measurement of volume flow at outlets.
Additionally, the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe can be used with funnels and flow straighteners (NOT included) to test the incoming and outgoing air at plate outlets, ventilation grilles and swirl outlets.
As the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe is Bluetooth-enabled, it can conduct cable-less measurements at a distance of 20m from the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester. Results are transferred wirelessly to the Testo 440 Tester via Bluetooth and measurements can be started and stopped using the button on the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe’s handle.
The Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe is a practical addition to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester.
The Testo Ø16mm Hot Wire Wired Probe with Temperature Sensor can be used with the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to measure air velocity, air temperature and volume flow in ventilation ducts. It includes an integrated telescope (with scale) enabling it to be extended up to 0.85m, thereby providing access to awkwardly located ducts.
Furthermore, to ensure accurate readings, the Testo Ø16mm Hot Wire Wired Probe with Temperature Sensor features an integrated absolute pressure measurement for the air density compensation. Moreover, the Testo Ø16mm Hot Wire Wired Probe’s sensor is protected against dirt and mechanical stress by a rotatable protective cap.
