Testo 440 Ø100mm Vane Kit with Bluetooth

The Testo 440 Ø100mm Vane Kit with Bluetooth is optimised for measuring the volume flow, air velocity, humidity and temperature of ventilation ducts and air outlets. This kit includes the following Testo products:

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is a multifunctional environmental tester optimised for measuring air quality and velocity parameters. Please see the following video for a brief introduction to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester.

When used with the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe/ Data Logger, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is able to measure volume flow at air/ ceiling outlets as well as ducts. The Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe can be combined with an extendable telescope (sold separately) with a 90° angle in order to access and measure air/ ceiling outlets without the need for a ladder. Furthermore, when the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe is used in conjunction with measurement funnels and flow straighteners it is able to test the incoming and outgoing air at plate outlets, ventilation grilles and swirl outlets.

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester is specifically designed for adaptability and can be used with a variety of Testo probes to measure the following air quality parameters:

• Air velocity
• Volume flow
• Degree of turbulence
• Cooling/ heating output
• CO₂ levels
• CO levels
• Air temperature
• Humidity

Furthermore, this tester can be used to detect mould and conduct funnel measurements. PLEASE NOTE that the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester's measurement capabilities are dependent on the attached probes. Up to three probes (one Bluetooth probe, one wired probe and one type-K temperature probe) can be simultaneously connected to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester. It will automatically recognise the connected probes removing the need for parameter adjustments.

When used with Bluetooth probes, such as the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe/ Data Logger included in this kit, the operator can conduct remote, cable-less measurements. He/she can start and stop measurements by pressing the button on the probe’s handle; Testo Bluetooth Smart Probes are able to transfer data over a distance of up to 20m allowing the user to conduct tests in a different location to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester.

Additionally, the user can attach the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to metal surfaces using its magnets. Furthermore, the user can program the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester to monitor and record CO and/or CO₂ levels (probe dependent) unsupervised over a prolonged period; the operator needs only enter the measurement period and intervals.

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester features an intuitive interface with clearly structured measurement menus designed to guide the user through each test. Using these menus the operator can enter the dimensions and geometry of duct cross-sections for the automatic calculation of volume flow.

Up to three parameters can be viewed in parallel via the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s large, graphic display. Up to 7500 measurement protocols can be saved to the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester’s internal memory. These may be exported to a PC for processing in a CSV file via a USB connection. Alternatively, the user can print reports on-site using the Testo IRDA/ Bluetooth Printer.

Finally, as only the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe/ Data Logger and other compatible Testo Probes need to be sent for calibration, the Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can remain in continual use, maximising its uptime.

The Testo 440 Air Velocity and IAQ Tester can be used to perform comfort level tests as well as monitor air quality. It is suitable for testing fume cupboards and air conditioning and ventilation systems. However, when used with the Testo Ø100mm Bluetooth Vane Smart Probe/ Data Logger included in this kit, it is ideal for measuring the volume flow of ducts and air/ ceiling outlets.
