Testo 417 Vane Anemometer

The compact 100mm vane anemometer Testo 417 is the ideal solution for simple, fast, and precise determination of flow velocity and volume flow at the air intake and outlet vents of air conditioning and ventilation systems. Adjustment for balanced residential ventilation or measurement at swirl outlets is also child's play with the Testo 417 kits including funnel and flow straightener.

The compact vane anemometer Testo 417 was developed to make it as easy as possible for you to take measurements on air inlets and outlets of air conditioning and ventilation systems. The integrated 100 mm vane quickly ensures precise results. Time and point average values as well as the volume flow are automatically calculated in the instrument and shown on the display. This allows balanced residential ventilation systems to be adjusted particularly efficiently - including quick documentation with the Testo Smart App.

Thanks to the connection to the Testo Smart App, configuration, display (also as a second screen), and storage as well as documentation of the measured values are dealt with quickly and without any complications. In addition, the App not only supports you in configuring the measuring instrument and takes over display, storage, and documentation of the measured values - it also turns your smartphone into a second display.

Testo 417 - Set 1 with Funnels

This kit version of the Testo 417 vane anemometer comes with a set of funnels, allowing measurements to be performed in difficult areas. 

Testo 417 - Set 2 with Funnels & Flow Straightener

Supplied as standard with two different-sized funnels, plus a flow straightener, the Testo 417 Set 2 is suitable for testing, installing, and maintaining airflow in ducts and all other aspects of HVAC work. 

For larger/smaller ducts, the 417 can be combined with the included funnels to get the best possible measurement at all times.

Testo 417 - F-Reg Anemometer Kit

Special bundle package containing a Testo 417 anemometer as well as additional funnels designed for testing procedures to be carried out across a much wider area (such as in grilles, air valves, and diffusers).

UKAS calibration is also included in the kit. The instruments are calibrated at the standard 5 measuring points to certify that they have been set to nationally approved standards.

The special cone funnels that are included with this kit are different shapes; one is circular and is 200mm x 200mm, while the other is square and is 330mm x 330mm. Both of these are designed to attach directly to the anemometer and when attached allow a much larger flow of air to pass through the anemometer, making them more suitable for large applications.
