Testo 400 Universal IAQ Tester

The Testo 400 Universal IAQ Tester is an indoor air quality meter equipped with a high-precision, location-independent pressure sensor and an intelligent calibration concept enabling use with Testo smart probes. It can be used to measure, document, and analyse indoor air quality parameters such as flow, temperature, humidity, pressure, illuminance, radiant heat, turbulence, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide, as well as check IAQ parameters in industrial production and manufacturing processes. Smart and intuitive measurement programs enable testing in line with a variety of standards:

• HVAC grid measurement according to EN ISO 12599 and ASHRAE 111
• PMV/PPD in accordance with EN ISO 7730 and ASHRAE 55
• Draught and degree of turbulence in line with EN ISO 7730 and ASHRAE 55
• WBGT measurement according to DIN 33403 and EN ISO 7243
• NET measurement in accordance with DIN 33403

Probes can be swapped without restarting the Testo 400 Universal IAQ Tester enabling easy and quick testing. In addition to this, customer information such as measuring points may be managed on the Testo 400 Universal IAQ Tester; this also improves the simplicity and efficiency of testing. To ensure a zero-error display, the Testo 400 Universal IAQ Tester is equipped with an adjustment function that can be used at up to six measuring points.

Results are stored in measurement menus and evaluated on the meter according to a traffic light system. They can be sent with full documentation, including photos (the Testo 400 includes a built-in camera), comments, and your logo, to a client or colleague via email, thereby improving job efficiency. Alternatively, data can be sent to a PC for further analysis using Testo’s DataControl PC Software.

Finally, to maximise the Testo 400 Universal IAQ Tester’s uptime, the smart probes are calibrated independently of the meter.
