TestSafe 720P HD Cavity Wall Rigid Inspection Camera

The TestSafe Cavity Wall Rigid Inspection Camera is a boroscopic inspection system comprised of a 300mm stainless steel tube (diameter 9mm) with a 90° side-view 720p HD camera and two LEDs, and a 3-inch, TFT-LCD monitor. It can be used for cavity wall inspections, wall tie and dry rot inspections, and inspections of spaces under floors, above ceilings, and behind panels and ducts.

As the stainless-steel tube features a 90° inspection camera the user need only turn the tube 360° to get a complete view of the space/cavity. Additionally, the two high-output LEDs ensure that the TestSafe Cavity Wall Inspection Camera can capture images in dark spaces; they are able to provide a light which illuminates areas up to 1.5m (4.5 feet) away. 

The TestSafe Cavity Wall Inspection Camera’s probe is IP67-rated. As such, it is suitable for inspecting wet, dirty and grimy areas; as the probe is waterproof it can also conduct inspections underwater to a depth of 1m (3 feet). This makes the TestSafe Cavity Wall Inspection Camera suitable for checking heat exchangers and engine blocks in addition to wall cavities and hidden spaces.

Footage captured by the camera can be viewed and played back on the 3-inch, TFT monitor. The Playback function is particularly useful for home inspectors, pest control professionals and HVAC technicians requiring a way to show their customers detected problems.

Furthermore, as the 3” monitor includes a slot for a microSD card (NOT included), the user can save still images as .jpg files and videos as .avi files for future viewing. The monitor is able to accommodate a microSD card up to 32GB; footage can be played back on a PC by inserting the microSD card into a Windows or Mac PC or laptop.

The TestSafe Cavity Wall Inspection Camera includes an Image Still function that allows the user to pause footage and select the best still to save. It is also equipped with Image Zoom (1-3x) and 180° Image Flip functions. 

Finally, the TestSafe Cavity Wall Inspection Camera is powered by four AA batteries that provide three hours of operating time.
