The FLIR E8 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera (9Hz) is an advanced version of the FLIR E8-XT Thermal Imaging Camera. It combines FLIR E8-XT’s key features with higher-performance functionalities and better specifications. Equipped with a 320 x 240px IR resolution and 45° x 34° field of view, you can capture radiometric thermal images which may be saved as JPEGs. This fully automated, focus-free thermal camera offers adjustable emissivity (0.1-1.0) accompanied by an emissivity table of pre-defined materials.
The E8 Pro supports multiple imaging modes including Thermal, with a choice of three thermal palettes (black and white, iron, and rainbow); Thermal Blending, Digital Camera, Picture-in-Picture; and MSX which overlays digital photos onto the IR image to enhance scene details.
The improved FLIR E8 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera includes the following new and upgraded features:
See our videos section below for an introduction to this thermal camera and the latest features.
Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity ensures saved images can be easily transferred to a smartphone/tablet with the FLIR Tools App installed, allowing you to share photos with colleagues and clients easily. The FLIR Tools App can also be used to edit and analyse thermal images and create reports, making informed, collaborative decision-making simpler. Alternatively, images may be downloaded to a PC via a USB interface.
Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) combines the details captured through the onboard visible light camera with the entire infrared image in real-time, thereby producing a detailed thermal image with embossed visual details, with this feature, you can easily identify the source of problematic heat patterns as it provides a clear thermal picture with visible light features. Moreover, the great part is that MSX works in real-time, allowing you to view instant results on the camera's LCD screen.
Compact, lightweight, and pistol-shaped, the FLIR E8 Pro is comfortable to use over long periods. Furthermore, its robust, 2m-drop-tested design makes it suitable for rugged work sites.
Ideal for predictive maintenance and troubleshooting applications, the FLIR E8 Pro Thermal Imaging Camera is an advanced, affordable, and adaptable infrared imager perfect for inspecting buildings and electrical and mechanical systems.
