This loading transformer is needed for using the T & R PCU2 primary current injector.
The unit outputs current of up to 10000A depending on conditions, but produces a stabilised current of 5000A for 5 minutes on with a 15 minutes off cooling period.
An alternative version of this product with higher stable output to 6000A is also available.
