The Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter is a digital low-resistance meter with a maximum test current of 200A capable of measuring very low resistances of a variety of components.
Its stabilised, non-pulsing test current of up to 200A allows measurements to be carried out in difficult conditions. Moreover, a 200A measurement current combined with a high-power source means the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter can be used to measure HV switch contacts to a basic uncertainty of 0.25%.
Furthermore, the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter includes a unique module which enables it to measure the resistance of inductive components with currents up to 10A such as motor and transformer windings. Additionally, using test clamps the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter can measure the resistance of components that are earthed on both sides, as well as isolators, and high-, medium- and low-voltage breakers.
The Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter’s 200A (max) test current, unique module, ability to accommodate test clamps and automatic temperature compensation makes it ideal for accurately measuring the resistances of the following components, objects and systems:
In addition to measuring resistance, the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter is able to determine the temperature of windings. It can also be used with clamps to measure current leakage and features voltage drop indication as well as a Recording function.
The Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter also includes a range of additional functions and measuring algorithms which aid the user with selecting the most appropriate test procedure for the object-under-investigation and/or the measurement conditions. Additionally, this low-resistance ohmmeter includes an integrated help system with instructive drawings designed to guide the user through the test procedures, as well as a state-of-the-art user interface.
Data and drawings are visible via the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter’s five-inch, coloured, touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480px. Measurements can be saved to the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter’s large memory; the user is able to manage both resistance readings and asset IDs.
It is possible to transfer data to and from the Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter using a Wi-Fi, USB or LAN interface. Via these interfaces, it is capable of communicating with computers, printers and 2D code readers.
Finally, this ergonomically designed low-resistance ohmmeter is protected against overheating and features battery charge monitoring. The Sonel MMR-6700 Micro-Ohmmeter is a high-performance, practical and precise resistance meter with a wide scope-for-use.
