These Sofamel VTE-P kits include a high-resolution voltage detector and an insulating pole. They are suitable for medium voltage detection and have optical and acoustic indications. The detector has a microcontroller with direct contact detection and connects to the pole via a universal head.
A bright red LED and a high-pressure acoustic buzzer alert the user when voltage is detected, a green LED when no voltage is detected, and an orange LED indicates the battery is low. The self-checking system tests the complete circuit while the automatic sleep mode initiates after 2 minutes of voltage absence, with a consumption of less than 1µA in this mode.
The polyester and fibreglass insulating pole has a Ø 32 mm tube with anti-humidity seals at both ends, a hand guard, a handle, and a tip. The voltage detector is classified as a Class L detector without extension of the contact electrode and features an indication group 3, tester with warning status, and active voltage presence indication.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use with a working temperature range from -25°C to +55°C and powered by a 9V alkaline battery (type 6LR61, included).
