Sofamel PATL-MC-3 Earthing Equipment, Automatic Clamps

These Sofamel PATL-MC-3 earthing and short-circuit packages are suitable for medium voltage overhead lines. Designed to protect an operator from accidental commissioning or possible voltage return. The MC clamp is fixed on bare conductors by pressure and can be removed by an operating hook. The three clamps can be placed at the same time. According to the IEC 61230 standard.

The kits are available with a choice of short circuit current max. ICC values of 4.0 KA/1s, 6.9 KA/1s, or 9.0 KA/1s.

What's Included?

• 3 MC aluminium alloy clamps with automatic activation fastening for cylindrical conductors with diameters between 3 and 20 mm.
• 1 dispenser head with a hook with M-10 thread.
• 2 copper cables with PVC insulation of 16/25/35 mm² section depending on model and 2.5 m long.
• 1 copper cable with PVC insulation of 16/25 mm² section depending on model and 15 m long.
• 1 metallic spool to store the 15 m of earthing cable.
• 1 telescopic pole (1.10 m folded and 2 m extended).
• 1 earthing rod.
• 1 plastic case to store and transport the equipment.
• 1 bag to store and transport the pole and the earthing rod.
