Sika E2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging – Choice of Range

The Sika E2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging can be used to measure, display and log pressure readings. The Sika E2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging differs from its predecessor, the Sika E2 Digital Pressure Gauge, in that it includes a new µcontroller, larger internal memory and more space for future enhancements.

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge is suitable for stationary and mobile applications and can be used to check, adjust and calibrate other pressure measurement instruments. There are twelve models available; they have different pressure ranges.

Datalogging

The Sika E2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging can log and store up to ten data files.  Each data file contains the measurement time and the minimum, maximum and actual values recorded.

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can measure and log data for up to twenty-four hours; datalogging can be commenced and halted by pressing the Start/ Stop button. When logging data a ‘Rec’ symbol is indicated on the display.

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge supports dynamic compression of data and can provide logged readings in a CSV file. It is also possible to delete readings on the Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge.

USB Interface

The datalogging Sika E2 Digital Pressure Gauge’s expansive memory means it functions as a USB stick. It can be connected to a PC via a USB cable enabling data transfer; whilst a Windows driver is not required the user can view data using Windows software. Logged data is downloaded in CSV files.

Furthermore, the Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s internal software can be updated via the USB connection. 

Display

Pressure measurements, as well as the instrument’s status, are indicated on the Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s large, illuminated, digital display. Information is readable even in poor lighting conditions and the digital display eliminates parallax errors and misreadings caused by needle jitters as a result of pressure fluctuations. Moreover, the user can configure display damping/ averaging using display filters.

Min/ Max Display and Peak Functions

The minimum and maximum pressures detected over the measurement period can be viewed on the Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s screen using the Min/Max display function. Additionally, the Peak function ascertains the peak value measured over the test period; this is useful when removing erroneous results and means violations of range limits can be detected.

Tare/ Zero Function

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge also includes a Tare/ Zero function for easy offset adjustment. This function eliminates the need for time-consuming mechanical adjustment as the Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be reset to a user-defined zero point at the push of a button.

Furthermore, the Tare/ Zero function enables single-point adjustment which means the linear characteristics curve can be shifted in a positive or negative direction over the entire measurement range.

Selectable Pressure Units

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge offers six user-selectable measurement units: bar, mH2O, PSI, mbar, kPa and MPa. The preferred measurement unit can be selected via the Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display.

Battery Operation/ Auto-Off Function

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be powered for up to 1500 hours by long-life, rechargeable/ single-use batteries. The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s programmable Auto-off function and electronics with extremely low power consumption make this long operating time possible.

Rugged Design

The Sika E2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge is rugged and impact-resistant; it features an IP67-rated design ensuring that it is resistant to dust and water ingress. It is also fitted with a protective rubber cap for protection during transport and field use.
