The Sika D2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging is a combined pressure measuring instrument and datalogger. It can be used to calibrate, check and adjust other pressure measuring instruments, and is suitable for stationary and mobile pressure measuring applications. This upgraded version of the Sika D2 Digital Pressure Gauge differs from its predecessor in that it can log measurements and therefore features a larger internal memory. It also includes more space for future enhancements and a new µcontroller.

The Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can log data over the duration of up to twenty-four hours. During logging a ‘Rec’ symbol is visible on the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display. The user can commence and halt datalogging using the Start/ Stop button.
The Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can save up to ten data files, each containing the measurement time and maximum, minimum and actual values recorded. The user is able to delete unwanted results directly via the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge. This digital pressure gauge saves data to a CSV file and supports dynamic compression of data.
Data can be downloaded as CSV files to a computer via a USB interface. A Windows driver is not required; however, it is possible to view data downloaded from the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge using Windows software.
The Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s internal software can also be updated via a USB connection.
The Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display has been designed to ensure it is easy-to-read enabling the user to take reliable measurements in a variety of lighting conditions. To this end, the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge includes a large, illuminated, digital display. Parallax errors and misreadings caused by needle jitters, as a result of vibrations or pressure fluctuations, are eliminated due to the digital readout. Furthermore, the user can configure display averaging/ damping using display filters.
The user can elect to view pressure readings in six selectable measurement units: bar, mH20, PSI, mbar, kPa and MPa. The user’s preferred measurement unit can be selected via the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display.
The user can view the minimum and maximum readings taken over the measurement period using the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s Min/Max Display function.
The Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge also includes a Peak function which proves particularly useful when identifying erroneous results and measurements that have exceeded the range limits. The Peak function ascertains the peak value measured over the test period.
In addition to the above functions, the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge also includes a Tare/ Zero function with a user-programmable zero point. The Tare/ Zero function eliminates the need for time-consuming mechanical adjustment as the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be reset to a specified zero-point at the push of a button.
Moreover, the Tare/ Zero function enables easy offset adjustment and single-point adjustment: the linear characteristics curve can be shifted in a positive or negative direction over the entire measurement range.
To conserve battery life the Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge features a programmable Auto-Off function and electronics with extremely low power consumption. It can be powered by long-life, rechargeable/ single-use batteries for up to 1500 hours.
The rugged, impact-resistant and IP67-rated Sika D2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge is resistant to dust and water ingress. It is fitted with a protective rubber cap for protection during transport and field use.
