Sika C2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging – Choice of Range

The Sika C2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging is a combined pressure measuring instrument and datalogger. It is an upgraded version of the Sika C2 Digital Pressure Gauge and includes a new µcontroller, larger internal memory and more space for future enhancements.

The Sika C2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging is suitable for performing stationary and mobile pressure measurements as well as calibrating, checking and adjusting other pressure measuring instruments. The Sika C2 Digital Pressure Gauge with Datalogging is available in ten models that vary in regards to their pressure ranges. Please see the table below for further details.

Datalogging

The Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge is capable of logging up to ten data files each containing the measurement time and the maximum, minimum and actual values. Measurements are saved in a CSV file; the user can delete unwanted readings directly via the gauge. The Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge dynamically compresses data.

Datalogging is commenced and halted using the Start/ Stop button; the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can measure and log pressure over the duration of up to twenty-four hours. When logging data a ‘Rec’ symbol is visible on the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display.

USB Interface

Data can be downloaded from the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge to a PC via a USB interface. Data is downloaded in CSV files. A Windows driver is not required; however, data can be viewed using Windows software.

In addition to facilitating the download of data, a USB connection can be used to update the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s internal software. This pressure gauge can also be powered via its USB port.

Display

The Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s large, illuminated, digital display ensures the user is able to take reliable readings in a range of light conditions. Digital readout eliminates parallax errors and prevents misreadings caused by needle jitters due to vibrations or pressure fluctuations. Furthermore, the user can configure display averaging/ damping using display filters.

Selectable Pressure Units

The Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be programmed to display pressure measurements in one of six selectable units: bar, mH2O, PSI, mbar, kPa and MPa. The user can select his/her preferred measurement unit via the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display.

Tare/ Zero Function

Another useful function present on the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge is the Tare/ Zero function with selectable zero-point. This function removes the need for tedious mechanical adjustment as the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be reset to a specified zero-point at the push of a button.

Additionally, the Tare/ Zero function enables easy offset adjustment and single-point adjustment. It allows the linear characteristics curve to be shifted in a positive or a negative direction over the entire measurement range.

Min/ Max Display and Peak Functions

Using the Min/ Max Display function, the operator can view the minimum and maximum pressures on the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s display. Additionally, the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge includes a Peak function which ascertains the peak value measured. The Peak function is useful when identifying erroneous results and measurements that have breached range limits.

Battery Operated/ Auto-Off Function

The Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be powered by long-life, rechargeable/ single-use batteries for up to 1500 hours. To maximise battery life, the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge includes a programmable Auto-Off function and electronics with extremely low power consumption.

Alternatively, the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge can be powered using an AC adapter.

Rugged Design

To protect the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge during field use and transportation, it is fitted with a protective rubber cap. Furthermore, the Sika C2 Datalogging Digital Pressure Gauge’s rugged, impact-resistant, IP67-rated design ensures that it is protected against dust and water ingress.
