The Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope is a high-performance, flexible and powerful digital oscilloscope with two channels and a bandwidth of 100MHz.
The Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope is equipped with a range of functions and modes, including Serial Bus Trigger and decoding functions for 12C, UART, SPI, LIN and CAN. Furthermore, it includes a Special mode for optimising memory space, as well as 10-Bit Acquisition and Sequence modes.
Both the 10-bit Acquisition mode and Sequences mode improve the precision and reliability of the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope. The 10-Bit Acquisition mode increases the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope’s resolution by oversampling; when this high-resolution is combined with the lowest vertical setting (500µV/div), the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope is able to detect the smallest signal details.
The Sequence mode increases the waveform capture rate (up to 500 000 wfm/s) which reduces the possibility of critical events being missed. This also reduces ‘dead time’ by a factor of four allowing engineers to find signal anomalies more quickly.
In addition to the aforementioned modes and functions, the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope includes a Bode Plot function which provides an easy method of measuring Phase and Gain margins of feedback loop systems, as well as determining the stability of SMPS designs. The Bode Plot function is of particular use when developing switch-mode power supplies (SMPS).
When the Bode Plot function is used with an OPTIONAL integrated 50Hz function generator (please call for details), the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope can be used to perform convenient and cost-effective (additional instruments are not required) frequency analysis.
Additionally, the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope may be purchased with an OPTIONAL Power Analysis function. This function provides automatic, on-screen performance analysis of common power supply characteristics. The OPTIONAL Power Analysis function can also be used with Siglent current and differential voltage probes.
Furthermore, it is possible to upgrade the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope’s software to facilitate a bandwidth of 350 MHz. This digital oscilloscope can also be upgraded to include decoding functions for 2S, CAN-FD, FlexRay and MIL-1553B. These OPTIONAL upgrades, as well as the previously mentioned OPTIONAL 50Hz function generator and Power Analysis function, add to the flexibility and longevity of this instrument, ensuring that it is able to accommodate future requirements.
Finally, the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope features a simple interface and 10-inch touchscreen display allowing the user to access the required modes, functions and settings easily and quickly. In addition to this, the Siglent SDS2102X Plus Super Phosphor Oscilloscope can be operated using an external keyboard and mouse or remotely via a PC due to the inclusion of a built-in web-server.
