The Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes are powerful, flexible, easy-to-use scopes equipped with a range of measurement and maths capabilities and functions. Additionally, these adaptable oscilloscopes are compatible with a variety of OPTIONAL features.
There are two Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscope models available. Both models have two channels but differ in regards to their bandwidths; please see the table below for further details.
Stock/ Model Code | Model Name | Bandwidth |
SDS2202X-E | Siglent SDS2202X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscope | 200 MHz |
SDS2352X-E | Siglent SDS2352X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscope | 350 MHz |
Furthermore, both models have a maximum sampling rate of 2 GSa/s and a standard record length of 28 Mpts. The Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes also include excellent signal fidelity, and low background noise with a voltage scale of 500µV/ div to 10V/div, as well as an innovative trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter. The intelligent trigger system supports Edge, Slope, Pulse Width, Window, Runt, Interval, Time out (Dropout), Pattern, and Video (supports HDTV) triggers, as well as Serial Bus Triggering and IIC, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN decoding protocols.
The Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes also include new generation SPO technology which allows the instruments to capture waveforms at a rate of 110 000 wfm/s in Normal mode and 400 000 wfm/s in Sequence mode.
The Segmented Acquisition/ Sequence mode divides the maximum record length into segments (maximum 80 000 segments) according to user-defined trigger conditions. Deadtime between each segment is kept to a minimum to ensure that the scopes capture qualifying events. The Sequence mode, like the History Waveform Record function, allows the user to capture, store and analyse extended waveforms. The History Waveform Record function has a maximum recorded waveform length of 80 000 frames.
In addition to the Waveform Record function, the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes include Automatic Measurement and Maths functions. The Automatic Measurement function works in conjunction with the Measurement Statistics, Zoom, Gating, Maths, History and Reference functions. It will also ensure measurements are taken for thirty-eight parameters.
The Maths function consists of FFT, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, integration, differential and square root, and, like the Measurement functions, will utilise all the sampled data points in the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes’ 28 Mpts memory, ensuring there is minimal distortion on analysis. When conducting FFT calculations the Maths function uses up to 1Mpt of samples to provide high-frequency resolution.
Furthermore, the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes include data analysis functions such as Search and Navigate and Bode Plot. They also include a Pass/ Fail function, supported by high-speed hardware, and a Security Erase mode.
The Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes include ten one-button shortcuts for commonly used features and functions. As standard, the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes include one-button shortcuts for Auto Setup, Default, Cursors, Measure, Roll, History, Display/Persist, Clear Sweep, Zoom, and Print. In addition to this, preset keys can be customised to accommodate user settings, allowing the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes to be tailored to the operator’s requirements.
Furthermore, the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes include a multi-language display and embedded online help, again improving the ease-of-operation and allowing the user to tailor the instruments to his/her requirements.
The Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes can be operated directly via their front panel or remotely via a web control and virtual instrument control panel accessible using a PC or mobile terminals. Web control has a near-real-time update rate of approximately ten-times per second. Additionally, the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes support SCPI remote control commands. The Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes also support VXI-11+SCPI, Telnet (port 5024) +SCPI and Socket (port 5025) +SCPI programming over LAN and include USB Host, USB Device (USB -TMC), LAN, Pass / Fail, and Trigger Out interfaces.
Data is displayed on the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes’ large, 7”, TFT-LCD display with an 800 x 480 resolution. This display is able to support 256-Level Intensity Grading and Colour Temperature display modes.
Finally, the Siglent SDS2000X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscopes’ scope-for-use can be expanded via the inclusion of the following OPTIONAL features:
- 16 digital channels (MSO)
- USB AWG module
- USB Wi-Fi adapter
