Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter – Choice of Model

The Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter with a dual-readout display is a multifunctional, desktop test instrument suitable for measuring a variety of electrical parameters and temperature.

There are two Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter models available that vary in regards to the communication interfaces they support. Both models support USB device, USB host and LAN, however, the Siglent SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter (ONLY) also supports GPIB.

The Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter includes the following measurement functions:  

• DC voltage: 200mV to 1000V
• DC current: 200µA to 10A
• True-RMS AC voltage: 200mV to 750V
• True-RMS AC current: 20mA to 10A
• 2/4-wire resistance: 200Ω to 100MΩ
• Capacitance: 2nF to 10000µF
• Continuity test: range fixed at 2kΩ
• Diode test: range fixed at 2.0V
• Frequency: 20Hz to 1MHz
• Period measurement: 1µs to 0.05s

The Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter can also measure temperature and, to this end, is able to support thermocouple and RTD sensors, and features cold terminal compensation for thermocouple temperature measurements.

In addition to this, the Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter includes an array of mathematical functions:

Data can be saved to the Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter’s 1 Gb memory which is capable of storing an array of settings and historical data. The Siglent SDM3055/ SDM3055A 5.5-Digit Digital Multimeter’s memory can be expanded using an external U-disc.
