It is suitable for testing and scientific research; monitoring tight spaces; and quality inspection. The Seek Thermal InspectionCAM Thermal Camera is particularly well suited to conducting fast, detailed analysis of electronic components to find excessive thermal stress or damaged boards and components. It provides a simple, time-efficient method of identifying failures.
Featuring a 320x240px high-resolution thermal sensor, the Seek Thermal InspectionCAM Thermal Camera delivers clear thermal images allowing you to view the electrical flow and layout of circuit boards in seconds. Furthermore, an adjustable 9.1mm f/1.0 lens provides a 4cm minimum focus distance and a 52µm spot size per pixel, enabling you to see minute details up close.
Dual-gain smart pixels allow you to view very high and very low temperatures simultaneously without compromising clarity or accuracy, which is particularly useful when verifying whether electrical repairs have been successful. The camera is accurate to ±5°C.
When used with pre-built software or SDKs, the Thermal InspectionCAM Thermal Camera can be integrated into existing systems. When used with Seek Thermal SDKs, three data lines (digital, display, and temperature) are accessible per pixel for every frame allowing you to gather over two-million data points a second, which can be processed quickly using various machine learning or AI algorithms.
