The Seaward Solar Utility Pro Complete Kit is a PV measurement set capable of testing parallel wired strings up to 1500V/ 40A. This makes the Seaward Solar Utility Pro Complete Kit suitable for testing powerful PV installations and eliminates the need to separate strings to keep within the lower limits of other instruments, thereby saving time.
Pressing the Test button provides values for Open Circuit Voltage and Short Circuit Current. Additionally, when used with a Seaward Solar Survey 200R Irradiance Meter, the Seaward Solar Utility Pro Unit can determine irradiance, module, and ambient temperature readings.
To make testing easy, the Seaward Solar Utility Pro Complete Kit includes 1.2m conversion leads. These leads can be used to convert standard MC4 leads into alligator clips, which is particularly useful when testing combiner boxes and junction boxes.
Measurements are clearly indicated on the large display designed to be easy-to-read in direct sunlight. Results are also recorded to the Seaward Solar Utility Pro Unit’s internal memory, which has the capacity to store up to 999 complete data sets. Readings can be downloaded to a PC as a CSV file.
Other practical features include a portable design and rugged casing which allow the Seaward Solar Utility Pro Complete Set to be transported around large utility sites easily.
With its market-leading 40A current capability, ability to test parallel wired strings, and high rating, the Seaward Solar Utility Pro Complete Kit is ideal for testing modern, powerful PV installations.
