Seaward KD1E Neon HV Potential Indicator (1-11KV)
The Seaward KD1E is a portable AC/DC high voltage potential indicator with a domed contact electrode.
Suitable for use on HV systems up to 11kV, the KD1E can be used to identify the presence of voltage on earthed neutral electrical circuits. The KD1E is a neon indicator; it uses duplicate neon indicators on its body to alert you if voltage is detected.
Each KD1E includes a permanently-connected earth cable and has a hand guard on all elements.
Seaward's KD1E high voltage indicators are made in compliance with UK Electricity Council Approval List G9.
This proving unit should be used with a Seaward PH3 proving unit both before and after testing to verify the indicator is working correctly (PH3 units sold separately).
