The Seaward D255 Hire Tester is an industry-standard electrical safety tester specifically designed for the equipment hire and service/ repair industries. It can be used to test Class I and Class II appliances in accordance with the HAE EHA Code of Practice for Electrical Safety Testing in the Hire Industry, and international standards such as BS EN 60335 and BS EN 62841.

Delivering a full suite of electrical safety tests including earth/ ground bond, hipot/ flash, and load/run and leakage, the Seaward D255 Hire Tester is ideal for workshop environments. It provides a single measurement for the test being performed ensuring that you can easily log the correct reading. Results may be frozen on the Seaward D255 Hire Tester’s large, clear, digital display using the Hold function.
