The entry-level model in Seaward Clare's HAL series, the HAL101 is a simple dielectric strength and DCIR tester suitable for testing the electrical insulation performance of electrical equipment.
The HAL101 is best suited for applications where you are measuring items one at a time. Once connected to the item you need to test, the HAL101 can be used to perform AC and DC flash/hipot tests, DC insulation resistance tests and also has an ARC detection mode.
All results can be stored internally on the HAL101's memory, allowing you to easily recall testing data at a later date. Built-in ports can be also used to connect optional barcode scanners and printers to the instrument, speeding up asset management and also allowing quick, seamless printing of your testing results (please note that both the barcode scanner and printer are sold separately).
In the HAL101's internal memory, up to 6000 testing results, including details of products, user, location, site, date and time can all be stored, ready for transfer to PC for further analysis.
The HAL101 also has fully isolated test outputs which are in compliance with EN50191.
